Software Solutions offers a wide variety of services designed
to make the transition to the SSI family of products as easy and
seamless as possible. Our goal is to have you up and running as
soon as possible with a minimum of disruption. The SSI team of
implementation specialists have years of experience serving local
government and will guide you throughout the transition so you
quickly begin to take advantage of the benefits of your newly installed
software.

Project Management
Each new customer is assigned a Project Manager who is responsible for
coordinating all aspects of the implementation. The Project Manager works
closely with the customer to define the project milestones, deliverables,
and project responsibilities. The Project Manager will serve as the primary
customer contact throughout the Implementation process.

Kick Off Meeting
The Kick Off Meeting is your opportunity to meet with your Project Manager
and review your specific goals and expectations. The Project Manager
will discuss your specific needs and from this meeting a project plan
is developed.

Installation Guide and User
Documentation
At the Kick Off Meeting you will receive a copy of our Installation Guide,
which is a tool to guide you through the transition process. The guide
contains information on various services we offer, as well as training
materials, and questionnaires for you to complete which help expedite our
work together.
You will also receive a complete set of user guides to assist you in the
training phase of implementation. In addition to these manuals, our documentation
is also available on CD-ROM. The eGov family of products also includes
online help to assist you.

Installation
All of our installations are performed by our team of Network Specialists,
whose experience working in a wide variety of network configurations
allows them to optimize our software performance with your existing network.
SSI will install the software on the server and each of the necessary
workstations and work with your network staff to assure proper operations.
SSI also offers a wide variety of network and hardware services, should
you need to purchase additional equipment.

Data Conversion
Software Solutions has performed numerous conversions of data from other
software packages. Dependent on your current software vendor, we may
be able to convert your data. Upon receipt of an XML file or an ASCII
file with a file layout, our Conversion Team goes to work developing
a test conversion. The test conversion is an initial conversion of data
that is used to review the accuracy of the conversion as well as provide
familiar data for training. Our Conversion Team will review this test
conversion file with you and once you have approved it –sets to
work on the final conversion.
The final conversion is a second conversion performed just before you are
ready to start with live or parallel operations. This allows us to convert
your most current data. A Software Instructor will be at your site to assist
you during the final conversion period.

Training
All initial new customer training is performed onsite. This allows us to
focus on your specific needs and how you will utilize the software in
an environment that's familiar and comfortable to you. This approach
allows us to work with your data and avoids the costs associated with
sending
your employees away for training. Your Project Manager will work closely
with you to identify your training needs and develop an appropriate training
plan for you.
In addition to new customer training, Software Solutions offers a variety
of training services, including: Online Training, Regional Training, and
System Optimization.

Check Point Review Meetings
Check Point Review meetings are held periodically throughout the Implementation
period to allow you to discuss with your Project Manager your progress
and any concerns that you may have. These meetings allow us to ensure
that projects remain on schedule and fully meet your expectations.

Project Close Out
Once the Implementation phase is complete, a formal Project Close Out meeting
is held to again review your progress and address any outstanding concerns.
This meeting serves as your formal transition to our Support Service
Team.
