Linda Jones of Waynesville named ESOP Employee Owner of the Year by Northern Kentucky and Ohio ESOP Association

At the March conference of the Northern Kentucky and Ohio ESOP Association in Columbus, LINDA JONES of SSI, was awarded the prestigious ESOP Employee Owner of the Year Award. Linda was awarded this honor for her commitment to the SSI Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) this past year. Her design work on the ESOP Brochure and ESOP Employee Pamphlet as well as event work on the ESOP Week events and Year End Dividend Celebration are a few examples of projects that earned her the nomination for the award. Linda Jones, in accepting the award, said “I did not accomplish this on my own; much of the credit goes to our committee for its outstanding efforts and creativity in communicating with the employee owners of SSI.” Linda is now automatically nominated for the National ESOP Employee Owner of the Year Award and will attend the National ESOP Association Conference in Washington DC this May. Linda lives in Waynesville with her husband and her two daughters.
In addition to Linda’s award, SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS was a semi-finalist for the ESOP Company of the Year. The Ohio/Kentucky Chapter of the ESOP Association was impressed with how they have incorporated an Employee Ownership Culture in their daily activities. They were delighted with the ideas of holding an annual picnic to distribute dividends in pieces of pie and planting an apple tree in front of the company headquarters in Lebanon to represent the "fruits of our labors".
